BHS Happenings

Please remember that students are not allowed to order food to the school building during the school day. This a safety concern as anyone could be delivering the food and trying to gain access to the building. All deliveries to the school will be turned away. We appreciate your support in discussing this with your child.

If you have not done so already, please make sure you create a Parent account on PowerSchool. Report Cards and Progress Reports will be posted to PowerSchool and this is also a great way to monitor your child's daily progress, academically and in regards to attendance. Those of you downloading the app for the first time, the district code is MTMR. Access ID's can be obtained by calling the main office at BHS at (860) 286-2630.

Girls Volleyball:

• On Thursday, September 7th, BHS' Varsity Girls Volleyball Team fell to Middletown, 3-0.
• On Friday, September 8th, BHS' Varsity Girls Volleyball Team fell to Innovation, 5-4.
• On Wednesday, September 13th, BHS' Varsity Girls Volleyball Team defeated The Academy of International Studies, 3-1.

Boys Soccer:

• On Friday, September 8th, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team fell to Platt, 4-0.
• On Wednesday, September 13th, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team defeated University/Prince Tech, 4-0.

Football:

• On Friday, September 8th, BHS' Varsity Football Team defeated Hartford Public, 42-6.

Girls Soccer:

• On Wednesday, September 13th, BHS' Varsity Girls Soccer Team defeated HMTCA, 3-2.

All enrolled students in Bloomfield Public Schools will receive a free healthy breakfast and lunch at school during the 2023-2024 school year. Your children will not have to pay a fee or submit an application. The free meals program is a part of a national program, known as the Community Eligibility Provision.
