It's hard to believe that the first month of school is already over. We've had a great start here, with staff and students easing back into a familiar routine and schedule.
It has been great to see a positive change in the traffic flow in our parking lot since the signage changes have been put in place. I'd like to thank you all for your diligence during drop off and pick up.
I'd like to remind all our families that the WRCS events calendar can be found by following the link below. This calendar highlights all of the extra-curricular activities and fun events happening in our building on a daily basis.
We also have Parent Teacher Interviews occurring this month. PTI's are a great opportunity to discuss your child's academic progress and get to know their teacher but please know that we are always available to discuss your child's learning needs or any concerns at any time throughout the year.
With the temperatures starting to dip, please encourage your child(ren) to dress appropriately for all types of weather. Additionally, it is always a good idea to include an extra change of clothes in your child's backpack. As you know, students have two outside recesses each day, as well as the potential to exercise outside during their regularly scheduled physical education block.
