Just before the ball dropped on New Year's Eve, the Indiana Department of Education released 2023 data on the state's high school graduation rates. Penn High School is among the highest in Indiana with 98.12! Penn's rate is also 9.14 above the state average. This is a prime example of P-H-M's Triangle of Success! It is a credit to our Penn families supporting their students and teachers helping students achieve academic success. P-H-M elementary and middle school families should also be proud and look forward to their students becoming Kingsmen!

Here are the steps you will follow to access the information:

1- Login to Family Access

2- Click on the Report Card folder for your student

3- Click on the download button to download a PDF of the Report Card

4- Once the Report Card has been downloaded, you may print a copy

Current 7th and 8th graders who are interested in participating in National Junior Honor Society, forms will be available in the Main Office starting January 22. We ask that students complete and turn in the form to the Main Office by the end of day on February 9.

Next week, we will be focusing on punctuality and getting to class on time!

Instructional time is so important so we are acknowledging students who are getting to class on time!

How can you help? Talk with your child about the class he/she is struggling to get to on time. Help them make a plan: What materials do they need? What path should they take? Can they talk to their friends on the WAY to class? How can they communicate challenges to their teacher to come up with a solution?

We will be doing activities in Advisory to help with tardies, as well as raffles throughout the week for students who are getting to class on time.
