Teacher Appreciation - Mahalo Waikiki School PTO!

This past week, our Waikiki School teachers and staff were treated to some amazing treats and gifts through the generosity of the Waikiki School PTO. This would not have been made possible without the following parents leading the teacher appreciation initiative:

Request for Shorts Donations

If you have any shorts (boys and/or girls) that your child has outgrown, our Health Room would gladly accept them as a donation. Donations will be accepted through the end of this school year at our front office.

Girls STEM camp at Kalani HS

This is a 4 week camp for girls between the ages of 8 - 12 years old, which explores various sciences such as biology, physics, and chemistry. They will also be exploring how to use technology and be making fun creative gadgets. This camp hopes to give your girls the opportunity to explore different sciences while having fun while making it cheap and affordable.

National Children’s Mental Health Acceptance Month

May is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month. The National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health offers a variety of resources, activities, workbooks and videos to help families get involved with their children’s mental health. There are additional resources to start conversations about the importance of mental health at home and how families can help to foster environments of acceptance.
