Principals Message
Dear Burbank families,
We are so proud of our Burbank Bulldogs for getting ½ way through the school year. They are working hard, and we are excited to see their growth.
As we spend time with family and friends, it is a time to reflect on all of the wonderful things that have happened in the past four months. Enjoy your holiday break and we look forward to seeing you in the new school year!
We have an exciting Winter Intersession scheduled for January 2-5. We have an assembly every day of that week and we have dress up days all week. Students can participate in music and art lessons. If you are interested, please do sign up through the parent square message or you can come on January 2nd to the front office.
We have academics scheduled from 8:00-12:00 and enrichment from 12:30-2:30pm.
Thank you and have a wonderful and safe holiday.

Student Success
Parent Involvement
These last few Bulletins we have talked about Staying Connected. How constant communication with the schools is one part of student success. So, now that we know the different forms of communication we need to discuss how we can involve ourselves at the school. So, how do we do that?
At each school site we have a goal for involvement, but a specific type of an involvement. We call this Parent Involvement. In this goal we discuss ways that parents can be involved at the school and how this area can help not only our students success, but parents as well.
Here at Burbank we have many ways a Parent can be involved. We host events such as Trunk or Treat, Fieldtrips, ELAC, School Site Council, PTA, Second Harvest, etc. All these areas are important because they cover all areas of the school needs. At some of these meetings you discuss important data, information, documentation, and funding.
Being involved allows you to be informed and see what changes need to made to help our students. It allows you to be the one making a change and making the decisions. It allows for your voice to be heard!
