A Message From Mrs. Caudill
I cannot think back on last night's fun run without smiling. What an amazing event coordinated by our PTA. Our Bobcats ran through the seven continents with a smile on their face laughing the whole way. A huge thank you to our AMAZING PTA for organizing this event. Another HUGE THANK YOU to our parents for all their donations. We were able to raise over 20,000! Miss Borchard and Mrs. Morse's class are the winning two classes! Your money will be used to support staff and students with such things like teacher grants, student assemblies, blacktop games, and many free events for students and families.
We are so lucky to have the school community that we do! Next week I will share a video of the Fun Run.
Stay well,
Mrs. Caudill

IB Lunch & Learn, K-5 parents
K-5 Parents/Guardians - Please join us on November 28th, 12:00 at Northville High School for a Lunch & Learn focused on our International Baccalaureate Programme in Northville Schools. IB strives to develop students who will build a better world through intercultural understanding and respect, alongside a healthy appetite for learning and excellence. MYP (Middle Years Programme) is a curriculum framework which supports all students grades 6-10. Both Meads Mill and Hillside middle schools are accredited; therefore, each student is considered an MYP student.
Come learn more about the IB Programme and have your questions answered. Dr Sandra Brock, Director of Instructional Programs & Services and Dr. James Davis, IB Coordinator and teacher at Northville High School will begin the presentation at 12:00pm at Northville High School. A parent panel will also share their experiences with the IB Programme.
Lunch will be provided but seats are limited, registration available and required to attend. You will receive a confirmation email upon completion of this registration form to confirm your seat.

Leader in Me November Focus: Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind
We will be working on Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind this month.
Begin with the End in Mind means to begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of your desired direction and destination, and then continue by flexing your proactive muscles to make things happen.
One of the best ways to incorporate Habit 2 into your life is to develop a Personal Mission Statement. It focuses on what you want to be and do. It is your plan for success. Plan ahead and set some goals - begin with the end in mind.
Great Books for Habit #2 - Begin With the End in Mind
- The BFG by Roald Dahl
- When I Grow Up by Sean Covey
- Click Clack Moo Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin
- Little Bunny on the Move by Peter McCarty
- The School Story by Andrew Clements
- Too Many Tamales by Gary Soto
- Plant a Kiss by Amy Krouse
If you would like to recognize your child for using Habit 2: Be Begin with the End in Mind at home, please fill out the following Bobcat Boost and return it to your child's teacher.
