As I type this newsletter, I am bubbling over with excitement as we enter into the 2023 - 2024 school year. I am honored to lead our school community of exceptional students, extraordinary teachers and staff, and supportive families as we continue to make Bethel the beautiful, Bethel the BEST!

Sunday, July 30th, is our first Jack the Dipper Fundraiser!!! All we need are Bethel folks to go get ice cream Sunday and they will give our school part of the proceeds!! We appreciate Jack the Dipper doing this for us! Jack the Dipper Fundraisers will be the last Sunday of the month-- every month!!😋

😃Wednesday, August 16th Drop in anytime between 1pm - 3pm!

Students will be going to their classroom and meeting their teacher (or saying hello again!) This is a drop in event that should allow you to swing by several classrooms if there are multiple kids in the family.

Please stop by the front table if your child is going to ride a bus this year! Also, we are excited that Kona ice will be outside the school if you want to get a treat after you leave the Meet the Teacher event. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you soon!!

A BIG thanks to Mrs. Haas for working on our school website! We will continue to add important dates and update information. All of the parent newsletters will be on there as well! Check it out!

Breakfast & Lunch will be free for every student in Haywood County this year!

July 31- Kindergarten Registration - Please come at your assigned time

August 7-10 - Kinder Camp (your child will attend 2 days, more info given at Registration)

August 15th - First Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 16th - Meet the Teacher 1:00-3:00 (Kona Ice will be here until 3:30) &

Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 17th - Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 18th - Optional Teacher Work Day

August 21st- First Student Day 12:30 DISMISSAL

August 22nd- Afterschool Begins (see the office prior to school for an application)

August 23rd - Kindergarten Registration 1:30 pm

August 28-29- Staggered start for Kindergarten
