We will be focusing on reducing tardies this semester; please note the new tardy policy:

Tardies 1-4: Teacher addressed. Must notify student each time they are tardy and make contact with parent at least once.

Tardy 5: Administrative Referral entered in Infinite Campus: Student is issued a tardy contract and parent contact is made by administrator.

Tardies 6-8: Administrative Referral and Administrative Detention will be assigned by administrator.

Tardy 9 and up: Administrative Referral and ISS assignment by administrator.

Georgia Futures Eligibility

As incentive for students to make better grades in school, Flint Energies is awarding gift cards to 10 students whose report card is randomly drawn from those submitted. At the end of each report card period, we accept entries through the dates listed on our website. Flint Energies will then draw ten names from those entering the contest. The reward is available to Flint Energies members and/or their children in kindergarten through technical school or college.

Please watch the video below to note the proper locations to drop-off and pick-up students in the morning and afternoon. This will allow for less traffic and an expedited experience for all. Thank you for your patience.

*NOTE: NEW FORM* All students applying for a Learners or Drivers Permit are required to fill out a DDS-1 Certificate of Enrollment form. The link to the form on our website is here, can be picked up on the wall beside the attendance office, or downloaded in the link below. Once Section 1 is filled out, please turn in to Mrs. Hunnicutt in the front office. Forms require a 24-48 hour turn around time. Please keep that in mind when scheduling your appointment to get your license/permit. Once completed, forms will be put in the students 1st period teachers mailbox to be given back to the student. If applying for a Drivers License ADAP (Alcohol Drug Awareness Program) certificate, it will also be attached if the class was taken/passed at WRHS.

Celebrate the successes of Warner Robins High School by purchasing a calendar featuring the exciting activities offered campuswide. We are selling 2022 calendars to help pay for State Championship rings. Calendars are $10 and can be shipped or picked up at the school.

The tennis team is selling tidal wave car wash tickets to raise money for their uniforms. Ask any tennis team player and they will tell you what a great deal these tickets are. Only $10 each for a $20 car wash ticket to tidal wave. If you don’t find a tennis player you can always get them from me in the front office.

Thank you for your support on holding our students accountable with being on time and staying in class. It is vital to our academic success that our students maximize their instructional and seat time. We are excited to provide our students with a one-to-one Chromebook on Feb. 7th, please go online and fill out the paperwork; or your student will bring an agreement form home on Jan. 31st. We would like these back by Feb. 2nd. This device will allow our students to take advantage of software programs to help increase their academic knowledge. Progress reports went home last week, any student with a missing grade/assignment will have until the next progress report (3 weeks) to make up any missed assignments.
