Welcome Back Picnic

Join us for our Welcome Back Picnic on Thursday, August 24th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm on our Main fields outside our Gym. We will have food, representatives from various community agencies and an opportunity to meet and greet with Eisenhower families, staff, and students!

It is our pleasure to welcome back new and returning families to a great year at ESTLA! We are excited that you are a part of our amazing community where parents, teachers, and

students work together to build our family. We welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and we look forward to working with you and our children. Our devoted staff are already planning and preparing for our children. Our hard working facilities team have spent the entire summer thoroughly cleaning the campus, and our much appreciated District staff registering new families. We are looking forward to this school year with anticipation and excitement.

Absences

Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying the school by phone (610)277.8720 or email; eisenhowerattendance@nasd.k12.pa.us each and every day their child is absent from school. Parents/guardians must include the following information:

  1. Student’s name

  2. Student’s homeroom teacher

  3. Reason for absence

  4. Name and relationship of caller

  5. Phone number where the caller can be reached for verification

FROM OUR SCHOOL NURSE-REMINDER TO 7TH GRADE

ALL seventh grade students MUST HAVE Tdap (Tetanus) and MCV4 (Meningitis) vaccines to enter seventh grade.

Please begin to make appointments for your child to receive these vaccines if you haven't already done so.

We will be hosting our fifth Grade orientation on Thursday, August 24th from 9:00am - 10:30am. Please note, the District will NOT provide transportation during orientation.

Eisenhower Science & Technology Leadership Academy

Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy (ESTLA) is located in the Municipality of Norristown. Originally opened as a high school in 1937, ESTLA remained a high school until 1980. In 1980, it was converted to a Junior High School and remained as such until 1983. In 1983 ESTLA operated as a middle school serving grades 6-8 students. Currently, Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy services grades 5th-8th.
