The next two weeks, our students and staff will be completing the Panorama Survey for Fall 2022. We have utilized Panorama for the past two years to help us gauge social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies, develop goals for our students/staff/school, and provide our students a way to give feedback.

As a staff, we utilize the student surveys (Fall and Spring) and parent survey (Spring only) to help develop goals as individuals and as a school. If you have any questions regarding the Panorama survey, please contact your child's teacher.

Pumpkin Seeds

This PreK center was all about number recognition and keeping it fun with PlayDoh. Students made the appropriate number of "pumpkin seeds" with their PlayDoh.

This little learner got a sticker for making his turtle coloring so top notch!

More work on the letter T and fine-motor skills. Students were encouraged to color only the objects that start with the letter T, cut them out, and paste them.

STEAM for PreK

Mrs. Hickey comes in for STEAM during centers. This week she read them a book about pumpkins and then helped them made a bridge that would hold five pumpkins. We learned that sugar is their favorite food!

SEL in PreK

Our social-emotional learning (SEL) program starts with our littlest learners in PreK. Here is our Calm Down Corner where kids can go to settle their thoughts and manage their emotions. Jesus is there to help too!

October 12, 13, and 14 is Family PE Week! This started the year before COVID and we are so excited to have it back. Look for a flyer next week from your child with details about how you can join them for PE on those dates above. We are here to...pump...you up!

Family Internet Safety Night

Please join us for a family engagement night sponsored by PrairieSTEM and Completely Kids! PrairieSTEM is providing two law enforcement experts to talk to our community about internet safety, both for you and for your children. PrairieSTEM talked to our middle school students earlier this year about password security and their digital footprints.

We invite all of our families to this important informational session. Completely Kids will be here to offer pizza and activities for all students. We look forward to seeing you here!

ABC Wreath and Poinsettia Sale 🌱

October 4th is our kick off day for ABC's annual Wreath & Poinsettia sale! Students will bring home order forms and information today in their THT folders. Please contact Christine Koehn with any questions. ALL ORDERS ARE DUE NOVEMBER 3RD! Wreath and poinsettia pick up will be some time the week of November 28th (details TBD).

Thank you to Mrs. Fangman and Mr. Tucksen for starting our cross country program this fall. Our runners did a great job representing our school this year and we are already excited for next year! A huge shout out to ABC for the tent on those hot and/or rainy days and for the XC/Track shirts!

Catholic Identity Corner

The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. It's impossible to overstate the beauty and the power of a daily Rosary.
