The OLS Literature and Comprehension Course does NOT mark Literature lessons over due or completed late. The daily/weekly plan does NOT allow me to set or change due dates. Please make sure you are following the lessons in the chart below.
Six Flags Read to Succeed Program
This week I introduced students to the Six Flags Read to Succeed Program. Information was pushed during Class Connect Sessions this week. Reading Logs are due Friday, February 15.

Please remember, if you did not present this week, you will present next week. If you presented this week, you are still required to come to CC session next week and practice being an active listener and awesome audience! Let's keep up the positive feedback!
All TGAs for semester 1 must be entered by December 21st. You will be completing your reflections and Unit 4 KWL charts by Thursday, December 20th so I can have time to get them all in before they pull grades for report cards.

*Please remember that you must have 5-10 specific things you learned or things you found interesting in this unit in order to get full credit.
-If you did not present this week, you may turn in your group reflection by Thursday 12/20
3rd Grade Social Studies with Mrs. Lipscomb
Hello 3rd graders, this week we will continue in unit 4 America’s Past. Please complete these 2 lessons:
- Lesson 7: War and a New Government
- Lesson 8: Celebrate and Honor
All 3rd graders will be invited to our 9:00am session on Friday. During class on December 21st, we will be discussing why we have national holidays like Independence Day and President’s Day. We will also be identifying some of the monuments and memorials we have and how they honor people and events in our history.
I’ll see you in class on Friday!

3rd Grade Music with Mrs. Bass
Every week you will check the grade level newsletter to see which Music Studio lessons to complete. Just open Unit 1, Lesson 1 in the OLS and click the link to take you to Music Studio! (This is why everything in the OLS for Music EXCEPT for Unit 1, Lesson 1 has been marked skipped.)
I will be closing all Music Studio assessments on Friday, 12/21. Be sure that you have completed all missing work by this Thursday afternoon!
Quarter 2 Extra Credit - Be sure that you have done the extra credit assessment in Music Studio -- it often makes the difference of a whole letter grade!!
