Succeed Today!

4th graders who not only display the Rocket Way (Respect-Pride-Integrity), they also consistently display a helping hand, a thoughtful gesture, and/or a general positive affect on our learning community. These students will engage with supporting younger students and take on other various leadership roles during the next two weeks.

Congratulations to this round of RBK's!

Coin challenge counting!! All I can say is wow! We sure counted up a lot of coins!

Kindergarten- $207.35

1st grade - $234.64

2nd grade - $142.24

3rd grade - $187.21

4th grade - $360.71

4th grade Rocked it out and will receive a PIZZA Party from the PTO!!

We are so proud and thankful to our RPTLE students & families that raised $1,126.15! Half of this is going towards Kindergarten refill water fountain, the rest for PTO events and students activities.

Coming Soon - Meat Stick Fundraiser. Gearing up for hunting season... These meat sticks were a HUGE hit last year!

Registration Opens 10-15-23. It ends on 11-10-23

I have sent a few notices about our lost and found growing and growing. Please look at this pic and claim your stuff. We will need to wash and donate soon as we are running out of room.

If you are in need of a costume and see one here that you would like to try, contact our office. We had a friendly visit from a person who brought these in for anyone to have.

This Month's Theme is Self-Direct!

What does it mean to Self-Direct?

Self-Direction is the ability and learned skill to cast a vision of future goals and then take intentional steps toward who, where, and what we want to be. Instead of focusing on things to control or avoid, we emphasize our responsibility to make positive choices related to our emotions, attitudes, and actions.

Expectations are learned and practiced. Our routines have been established and practiced. Now, our choices, our attitudes, our actions and reactions towards those expectations will control our days at TLE. The self-directed student will take charge of his/her expectations and stay focused on improving.

As you might already know from Mr. Edward's email sent out to our community a few weeks ago, all Students will have access to free breakfast and lunch this school year. Super Important to fill out the application below. If you have not yet already done so, please fill out the application below.

Updating your demographics in your parent portal is so critical to ensure effective communication, safety, and staying informed. Please follow the steps provided in the PDF below. If you already have a portal account the demographic update is fairly simple and straight forward. If you are new and need to create an account follow the steps below. Please call the office for assistance.

The portal will open this upcoming week. If you click on the link inside the PDF and it states the portal is temporarily disabled, please try again later. I am not sure when the portal will go live, but it will be live sometime early in the week. We will provide another set of instructions with pictures to help guide after the portal opens. I will send an updated newsletter with these updated instructions that may be easier to follow.
