DAA MS GRADE LEVEL NEWSLETTERS
Feb 24, 2023
Dear Parents
The time has come and our Middle School students are setting off on their different experiences over the weekend. I am sure that they will return with great memories, new friendships, and thought-provoking experiences. Thank you for your patience throughout the process while we worked to ensure that all groups have the best experience possible.
We will hold our Semester 2 Parent-Teacher conferences between March 13th - 15th. These conferences provide an opportunity for us to discuss how your child is progressing this year. Earlier today (Feb 24), you should have received email communication from the MS office about the conferences and the sign up link that opens on Feb 27 at 7:30 am.
We are very much looking forward to the return of our Middle School Sports Days. Grade 8 will have their Sports Day on Friday, 10th of March. Grade 6 & 7’s Sports Day will be held the following Friday, 17th March. A big thank you to DAAPA for offering to provide refreshments to our students on both days.
Our Middle School students are invited to enter the Yearbook Cover Art competition for this academic year. The judges are looking for covers that show how students at DAA practice the Culture of Kindness. The due date is Friday, 17th March. Please have a chat with your child if you think they would like to get involved. Please see the poster below for more details.
Have a great weekend,
Sean Mc Garvey
Middle School Assistant Principal

DAA Listens!
At DAA we are committed to communicating effectively with our families. We believe that open communication between home and school is a vital component of our student’s success.
We are excited to launch a new communication channel within our school community, called DAA Listens. By scanning this QR code you will be able to share your compliments, comments or concerns directly with our Superintendent Dr Hildreth. There are also 6 mailboxes located around the school, where students and parents can drop a postcard. On the middle school level, the mailbox is right across from the main office. Either method will ensure that Dr. Hildreth will receive the communication and that a member of staff will be back in touch with you quickly.
Your voice is highly valued and we look forward to listening to your feedback as we collectively seek to enhance every student’s experience at our school.
