EdCamps are part of a growing trend of "unconferences"
where educators and educational administrators can come together and engage in meaningful dialogue. Participants can be the presenters or simply be a part of the discussion. Some sessions are planned and presented. Other sessions are simply a group discussion about any topic wanting to be discussed.
YOU, the attendee, are part of the experience.
You can present or actively engage in the day's festivities.
It's not just learning. You will get to connect with educators from multiple schools, districts, and levels of seniority. Administration, Board of Education members, educational aides, college professors, and college students who are hoping to enter the field of education are also invited. You will make new friends and gain insight on current educational topics.
