During the whole month of February, Walsh students participated in Kids Heart Challenge. The purpose of Kids Heart Challenge is to teach kids about the importance of our heart and the things we can do to keep it healthy. While participating in the program, students also had the opportunity to raise and donate money for people who unfortunately have unhealthy hearts.
As a whole school, we did an amazing job! We raised a grand total of $2,664.91! Here are the top 3 contributors to our fundraiser:
1.) Katelyn and Kylie Reeder
2.) Gianna Villamill
3.) Bella Parra
Thank you to all that helped out with this very important cause. I look forward to doing Kids Heart Challenge again next year! Remember to do what you can to keep your heart healthy!
