While winter can be a season of fun and adventure for children, it can also be very dangerous. Before the temperature gets any lower, start thinking about warmer clothing options for your child for the upcoming chilly months. With the cold weather upon us, please remember to send your children to school with appropriate winter clothes such as a warm coat, hat, and mittens/gloves. Once the snow flies, snow pants and boots will be required for students to play in the snow during recess. Without them they will only be allowed to play on the blacktop areas. It is also a good idea to label all outdoor clothing with your child’s name so there is no confusion among the many different cold weather items.
