Trick or Trash results are in!
Thank you to all the Lisbon students and families who participated in this year’s first Trick or Trash recycling program, organized by the 4th grade Green Ambassadors! In the two months following Halloween, students school-wide were encouraged to drop their empty candy wrappers in our special Trick or Trash collection boxes, which were sent to Rubicon Marketplace at the end of January for recycling. Rubicon has reported back to us that we successfully diverted a total of 7.45 POUNDS of wrappers from the landfill! Congratulations Lisbon Elementary School for doing your part to make a difference! Look for Trick or Trash to return next fall, when we can look to set a new record!
