Wasco Bucks Update...
I had the pleasure of having a new assistant who helped me with some important tasks throughout the day. For weeks Scott would see me in the hallway and give me an update on the number of Wasco Bucks he had earned and that he was excited to “buy” being my assistant for the day! As my assistant, he helped me with the morning announcements, set up the Gaga Ball game, monitor the hallways, and helped me gather Paw Prints and announce the Paw Print winners for the week. It was a busy and fun day! This is yet another reward that students can purchase with their hard earned Wasco Bucks! Thank you Scott for being such a wonderful assistant! Who wants to be next? Remember to Be Safe, Be Kind, Work Hard, and Do the Right Thing!
Respect Recognition Announcement
Last week, teachers were asked to recognize students that they believe demonstrate respect in our school. The following students were recognized by our Wasco Staff. They will receive a certificate and have their photo proudly displayed on our Respect bulletin board outside of Mrs. Schroeder’s office. Please join me in congratulating:
This month our character trait focus is “The Power of Yet”. What does the power of yet mean? In essence, the word means a realization that some things are worth waiting for, and those things take work. It's not always easy, but the power of this small word allows for success. Our Wasco Staff will be looking for students that are able to demonstrate this ability to not give up and persevere even when things get difficult. You may not be able to do something yet, but with some effort and work, you will get it.

Become informed on specialized topics, engage in two-way dialogue with speakers and fellow parents, and become a support resource for others. The sessions offered are based on feedback from our parents and may feature teachers and staff, community partners, or guests from afar who specialize in topics relevant to our District. Please click here for a list of our exciting upcoming sessions!
