Principal's Message
Welcome Back! We are so excited to have students back in the building. I want to thank everyone for being understanding for our snow/cold weather days. Our students’ safety getting to and from school in safe conditions has been our priority in making our decisions.
If you have a child who will enter kindergarten next school year, please come to our Kindergarten Registration and Carnival Event on February 1st at Crosby. We would love to meet our future scholars!
I would also like to thank all of our parents for helping make students’ attendance a priority. We have seen an increase in students’ attendance rates from last year to this year. School attendance is an important factor to help students learn the skills they need to succeed. We appreciate your continued partnership in making school attendance a priority.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
February parent teacher conferences are on an as needed basis, teachers will be reaching out to invite some families. We will be sending the link to sign up for conferences the first week in February. If you would like a conference you are more than welcome to reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule one if you would like to.
AVID Future Focused
Students will be engaged with Learning Logs in January and February. Learning Logs are an informal written record that can be used at the beginning, middle, and/or end of a unit of study. The purpose of Learning Logs is to document progress of a student’s learning. They can be used as a tool for problem solving and can help identify gaps in learning. Learning Logs increase individual awareness of learning and can be useful in setting goals.
🥞🍳Breakfast at School
A quick reminder that our school serves breakfast until 8:45 AM each day. If your child arrives after this time, they may miss breakfast. Please ensure they arrive on time to enjoy a nutritious start to their day. If they need to arrive after 8:45 please make sure they have breakfast before arriving at school.
We wanted to remind you that on late start days resulting from inclement weather, breakfast will not be served at school.
