A little about Miss Campfield

I grew up in a small town called Rutherford County or as some may call it "Small Town Friendly". I have always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. After high school, I went straight to Western Carolina University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I am now currently in what we call Intern 1 and I will in the classroom helping teacher your child two days a week. I am so excited for this experience and absolutely cannot wait to grow with these amazing children every day this year.

Student Teaching

As a current student teacher, I will be working and co-teaching with Mrs. Tuttle throughout the year. From August until December I will be in the classroom at Ellenboro Elementary School on Mondays and Fridays. After December, I will be in this second-grade classroom teaching every day for a whole semester. I believe that gaining this experience and getting to be involved with hands-on learning, I will learn so much from Mrs. Tuttle and this wonderful group of kids.
