Leader In Me - Habit 4: Think Win Win
Our Leader In Me focus for the month of January is to "Think Win-Win". People who think win-win believe that there is plenty for everybody and that one person’s success is not achieved at the expense of others.
- I can problem-solve when an issue comes up with another person.
- I think about what other people want and not just what I want.
- I am kind to others and try to think of ways to help everyone to be happy.
NWEA Testing/Student NWEA Goals
To reinforce Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind, we will be having a building-wide NWEA goal for math and reading. The NWEA goal is the following: 50% of students will meet or exceed their growth projection from Fall to Winter. Please talk with your child about this goal and about the importance of doing their personal best. NWEA data is used to place students in intervention and Honor classes.

Chromebooks
Please make sure your child is being responsible with their Chromebooks by making sure they are charged every night and brought to school on a daily basis. If students have any issues with their Chromebook, then they will need to see Mrs. Burley in the library.
Lunch
This year all students may eat breakfast for FREE. For lunch, there is a charge of $2 if you are not receiving free lunch. The free application can be filled out online at https://www.familyportal.cloud. If you turned in your free lunch application late, then you are responsible to pay for lunches prior to the free lunch enrollment. At this time, lunches can be paid by cash or checks. Checks can be made payable to Bangor Township Schools.
