In Glendale Unified schools we celebrate the many cultures that make up our diverse district. Join us in celebrating Filipino American History Month and recognizing the significant role Filipinos have played in our Glendale Unified community and throughout American history.

Recently, our Board of Education highlighted the outstanding work of Wilson Teacher Ms. April Faieta, Assistant Director of ETIS Romer Ganiron, and Rosemont Health Clerk Marc Reyes for their outstanding service to our Glendale Unified community.

Sixteen Glendale High students have been selected to participate in a new Healthcare Professions Internship Program with Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital. This one-of-a-kind internship opportunity will offer students hands-on experience and exposure to healthcare fields and professions. The internship was made possible by the Glendale Unified College and Career Division and our amazing partners at Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital.

We are seeking parent and community advice on how we can improve our programs and services for English Learners! Please join us at our upcoming DELAC meeting on October 11. We especially want to hear from parents of our English Learner students, but all parents and community members are invited to attend. Learn more.

Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR) Training teaches participants how to recognize early signs to prevent suicide and learn how to actively ask and respond to a person in crisis.
