Operation Bugle Boy ~ Guest Speaker ~ Joe Torillo

Operation Bugle Boy had an opportunity to host Joe Torillo for a special 9/11 assembly for our students. Buried alive twice on September 11, 2001, this smart, funny, and now retired FDNY Lieutenant shares his amazing stories and strong messages that attendees will never forget. Joe travels the world as a professional speaker with a quest to make our country the "Re-United States of America", resurrecting patriotism, trumpeting the men and women of the Armed Services, mentoring adolescents, and inspiring audiences of all sizes to embrace change and never give up on their dreams. Today he briefly shared his story and encouraged students to be kind to others regardless of our differences.

Football Friday Night REMINDERS

*Gates open at 5:00pm

*TONIGHT: CheerFair participants: An announcement will be made for the girls to meet at the scoreboard side of the track prior to half-time. All participants are free to leave at the conclusion of the performance.

*Fans are NOT ALLOWED on the hill near or behind the stands. Signs will be posted as reminders.

*Students are NOT ALLOWED to play or throw footballs.

*We ask that students sit with their friends or families in the stands.

Due to limited deliveries from our food wholesale company, we are having to adjust our menus. We will do our best to let you know of changes when they occur to allow time for meal planning if needed due to food allergies. We appreciate your patience as we work through this.

CheerFair 2021 - "Love Never Forgets - #EndAlz"

CHEERFAIR participants perform TONIGHT at half-time of the football game versus California. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. An announcement will be made for the girls to meet at the scoreboard side of the track prior to half-time. All participants are free to leave at the conclusion of the performance.

Last call! We had a few asking if they could purchase our Home and School character shirts. We have opened that up to anyone that might wish to order. Shirts are $15 with an additional $1 for plus sizes (XL - $16, XXL - $17, XXL - $18).

Mindful Moments Resource

District Couseling Advisory Committee

The Blair Oaks Intermediate School Counselor is looking for volunteers to represent Blair Oaks Intermediate on our District Counseling Advisory Committee. This committee is designed to provide feedback on program goals and brainstorm ideas on how to continue to provide the best care for our students. This committee meets twice yearly, once in the fall and once in the spring at 3:15 p.m. If you are interested in being a part of this committee please reach out to Ms. Katnik, our Intermediate School Counselor.
