Cohort Update "Love" -2022-
"History in the Making" (3/15/21)
- Love -
Greetings to the class 2022 and to the Warrior Nation,
The word LOVE gets tossed around frequently. Many times it's used to show affection towards something and other times it's used to describe a feeling towards someone. But, how often do we talk about or address the Love that we need for ourselves? Probably not as much as we should. We take care of the areas, people and things within our lives that we have love for, but how often to we extend that love to ourselves? Each day that I get to see students, staff and families here at WCHS it reminds me of the love that I have not only for what I do for a living, but the love that I have for education and what it can do for each of our lives. Learning, growing and becoming educated each day is an awesome aspect of life that I love to share and connect with those around me. I challenge each of you to expand your ability to not only love yourselves, but to allow others to show you appropriate love as well! Let's stay in this thing together through 2022!!! This week is a great week to be GREAT!
Have a super week and just be AWESOME!!!
WC-Strong!
Much Love,
Mr. Russell - Cohort Dean

4. Know that YOU are LOVED!!!
MoellerVation
SEE the Love and support. ACCEPT the love and support. BE the love and support.
Look in the mirror because that individual deserves all of the love that you can muster! THAT person deserves all the time spent, the encouragement given, and the energy given. Let's see what happens when you go ALL OUT for YOU this week! I mean give yourself EVERY opportunity for success. Let's just see what happens. I have a sneaky suspicion that you will be equally as proud as I am of your efforts and fall in LOVE with the results!
Reminder: Tutoring is back in session on Monday's and Thursday's. Come to the west café (Near the Freshman Academy) from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm and let's get it in!
Reminder: Please follow the school schedule so you don't miss any lessons and or opportunities to connect with your teachers!
- Never stop trying...
- Never stop believing...
- Never give up on yourself...
- Because you are enough...
Guess who Loves you?

From Mrs. Boyd - your Cohort Secretary!!!
Hey everyone...We are rolling this week with another "on point" theme! Love...what more is there to say? Affection, appreciation and admiration are all things we all need to survive and thrive. If we had more love in this world, what a place it would be! I get a kick, each week, thinking about how to show each of you love and help you get through your week. Please stop by the office and say "what's up" on your scheduled in person day or email me when you get a minute. We are in this together, so come by and let side "B" show you some Love! Besides, Mr. Russell still got snacks and I'm sick of looking at Snicker Bars and Hot Chips!!!!
Remember, If you have a new phone number, email address or new address where you live please get that information to me as soon as possible. If you have moved or your address has changed you must provide me with a new lease or mortgage and utility bill information.
Work permits are still being accepted. You can come by with your completed forms and I will look up all of your information to see if you will granted permission to be employed and earn some good money this semester. FYI...school work comes first!
You have 24 hours each day to make moves, use your time wisely!!!

The Love we need class of 2022....
As you continue to make strides this semester towards the finish line, we encourage you to reflect on a quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. which states "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." As you reflect on those words, take the time to think about the things in your life that you have control over and how you can use your power to spread love and light to others. While you may have some power in regards to your academics, job, relationships, and other things, there is one thing that you should always have power over and that is LOVE for yourself. You are your own best friend and in order to be a light in someone else's darkness or storm, you must first be a light to yourself. When you begin to love who you are and understand that you have a purpose, others will gravitate to your positivity and light. As you embrace and love yourself, you will be an example for others as they will also become lanterns filled with light.
We love each of you and we want nothing more than to see each of you learn to fully love yourselves. Begin to love the beautiful gifts that you have within you so you can offer the world your talents. Those gifts are beams of light and it is with those gifts that each of you, the next generation, will expel the darkness that keeps society from shining.
Ms. Reynolds will be available via Zoom from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM on Gold Days.
Mr. Howe will be available via Zoom from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM on Black Days.
