American Ed Week (October 11-15)

Although, we love our bustling school during American Ed Week, unfortunately, we won't be able to have families in our schools this year. Our teachers will continue to send out messages to families to hopefully continue to give you a good picture on what is going on here at Asa Packer all year long!!

Student Absences/Excuses

Student Excuses/Absences may be mailed to AsaPackerAttendance@basdschools.org

Please note: Messages sent to this address would replace the Blue Excuse Form. Blue Excuse Forms may still be used if you are not sending an email.

Thank You WEIS and Asa Packer Families

Weis market donated a $400 check to our school. The money is from AMAZING families that set their Weis "rewards" to go to Asa Packer in a program called WEIS4SCHOOL. The program will continue again this year.

PTA Updates

Please see below for more PTA information.

1- The Walk-a-Thon is only 1 week away! The PTA is excited to be able to bring back our biggest fundraiser while remaining socially distanced. Pledges may be submitted with the paper form that came home with your child or register your child online at the the link below. Pledges will now be accepted until October 15th.

2- The results of the Panera Dine & Donate are in. Thank you to the 32 families that purchased and helped raise $217.19 for our school!

3- There are still 2 dozen Kidstuff coupon books that need to be returned to school. If you have not yet returned your book please send in payment or the book to your child’s teacher.

4- The PTA has brought back the straw bale outdoor learning area again this year. This provides our children the opportunity to interact with nature and learn outside of the traditional classroom. In an effort to preserve the bales as long as possible please discourage children from playing on them at drop off or dismissal.

From Our Health Department

The majority of our students are following mask expectations each day and all day. As a reminder it is the district expectation that all students wear masks appropriately (covering their nose and mouth) while inside the school building and on buses.

Please emphasize the importance of this expectation. We need to maintain safe and consistent practices and avoid defiance issues.
