PBIS Updates and Site Visit Info
- On Monday, May 6th from 10:00-11:30am we'll have our PBIS Visit.
- Here is the link to the rubric: School-wide Evaluation Tool (SET).
- The Do the Right Thing and Treat People Right signs and expectations will be updated by Friday.
- Remind students that our school-wide expecatation is to Do the Right Thing and Treat People Right. *It's great to be a cardinal is one way that we show school pride.

I can't believe we only have 19 days left this school year. Let's make every day count for our students!
Celebrations will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at the Global Village at 5:30pm. If you RSVP for the event, look for an email to discuss decade for the event.
The enrichment summer program will be held at Central from June 10-21, 2024 and the IU Indianapolis Freedom School Program from June 10-July 12, 2024. The majority of our classrooms will be used this summer for the programs. We will send a separate email this week if your classroom will be used and the dates. Please begin to organize, clean, and store items in your classroom.

- ILEARN Makeup Tests will continue this week. Please be cognizant of noise levels when using the restrooms and passing through the halls.

Make sure that students can:
- Define perseverance - Perseverance means to never give up!!.
- Share why perseverance is important - Perseverance is important because when you are faced with challenges, continuing to practice rather than giving up will help you to be successful with whatever you put your mind to.
- Share examples of perseverance with students - staying focused on a task, finishing a project on time, studying for a test, and setting/accomplishing a goal.
