Upcoming EOC Dates
Tuesday, May 3rd: Algebra I
Wednesday, May 4th: Biology
Thursday, May 5th: US History
Please make every effort to ensure your student is in attendance on the day(s) of his/her exam(s), and avoid making appointments on these dates, as achieving a passing score on EOC exams is a state graduation requirement.
Schedule for May 3rd, 4th, and 5th:
8:05-8:40 Tutorials (Only tested students on campus)
8:45 Testing Begins (Only tested students on campus)
12ish Lunch for tested students
1:25 Bell rings to go to 1st period (All students on campus)
1st Period: 1:30-2:00
2nd Period: 2:05-2:35
3rd Period: 2:40-3:10
4th Period: 3:15-3:45
Buses:
During these EOC dates, buses will run at the normal time in the morning for students who are taking EOC exams. A second route will run starting at 12:30 to bring students to school who are not taking EOC exams on those days. All students will be dismissed at the regular dismissal time.
LCP Advanced Theatre Presents A Night of 10 Minute Plays - May 6
LCP Advanced Theatre presents three student written 10 minute plays. These original scripts were developed and directed by the students themselves. Admission is FREE! Friday, May 6th in the PAC!
LCHS Celebration of Excellence Awards Ceremonies
We will be hosting the high school awards ceremonies on May 9th and 10th. Invitations will be sent out to parents of students receiving awards in the first week of May as academic competitions finish up. These awards ceremonies include class awards, academic competition awards, academic top ten, and administrative designated awards. They will not include A/B Honor Roll. The 9th-11th grade ceremonies will include a brunch, so be sure to RSVP so we can have a head count for food. The RSVP will be included in the invitation.
The senior awards ceremony will also include scholarship recognition.
May 9th Ceremonies:
Sophomore Brunch - 9:00AM in the HS Practice Gym
Junior Brunch - 10:30AM in the HS Practice Gym
Senior Awards and Scholarships - 6:00PM in the PAC
May 10th Ceremony:
Freshman Brunch - 9:00AM in the HS Practice Gym
Unified Track Advances to State
The LCHS Unified Track team is STATE BOUND after taking third place at the West Regional meet at Abilene Christian University! WAY TO GO, PIRATES!
SKILLSUSA Competes at State
Congratulations to the following students who competed at the state SKILLSUSA competition:

Ag Students Compete in Career Development Events
Five teams of students who competed in the Career Development Events are state bound. Congratulations to these hard working Pirates!

Healthcare Symposium for Students Interested in Medical and Dental Careers - April 30
Hill & Ioppolo will host a healthcare symposium for students interested in careers in medicine and dentistry on April 30th, from 9-12 at the Cotton Court Hotel.
