Thank you to Tiffany and our middle school team for a wonderful Student of the Month Ceremony! I'm already hearing the students talk about the ways they are going to work to win an award next month. It was great to see how much this meant to our kids. On Thursday, 10/26, 5 middle school students will be heading to AIC with Tiffany for a middle school leadership conference. I am including the link with information below.

Advisory groups are changing on Monday. As previously mentioned, Cassie will send out the list of students who will be in your X block. Students will receive an email notifying them of their x block class.

Just a reminder our make up staff meeting will be this Monday after school in the library.

Next week Matt and his video production students will be painting 2 new phrases for our students- BELIEVE and You Matter. The BELIEVE sign will look like the one in the Ted Lasso video below. What a great message for our kids!

Sophomore, Sarah Mohsin, was nominated for scoring three goals and two assists in their winning game against Oxford High School. Please join me in congratulating Sarah on this awesome accomplishment!

This year's school pictures are on Wednesday, October 25. Our picture retake/make-up day is Wednesday, December 6

This year the Student Council is sponsoring our 1st Annual Flag Football Tournament. Please consider joining us for an afternoon full of fun, prizes, and food. All proceeds will go to our Raise the Bleachers Fundraiser. All NBHS students can register as well as staff and faculty from both schools. I have included the sign up form below.

We will also be hosting an Italian Night at Hitchcock Tavern on November 8th- we will be selling tickets in advance; proceeds to go to Raise the Bleachers and Student Council; more info to come!

The Dental Team will be here Friday December 1st for both NBES and NBHS students.

Parents can sign their children up online or use a paper form that we will have available

in each Main Office.

3- 6pm

Team Registration (team of 10) ~$30 per team

Single Registration (will be put on a team) ~$5 per person

Tournament style- 2 game guarantee

Registration is for students, faculty, and staff- Family, Friends, and Community members are encouraged to come watch!

Concessions will be sold

All proceeds go to the Raise the Bleachers Fundraiser

Halloween Dance:

Friday October 27th

6- 8 pm; Grades 7-12

$10 per ticket OR $7 dollars with a food pantry donation

Dress in your Halloween costume

Food, games, and PRIZES for best costume!

Halloween Spirit Day:

Tuesday October 31, 2023

Students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume to school
