Happy 2022!
I hope everyone had a peaceful and healthy holiday. As we move into 2022, please know that we staying diligent at school with all of our Covid safety protocols. Please keep your students home if they are having any symptoms and please get them tested. I know that tests are hard to make appointments for right now, MVLA district is offering extra testing hours, you can walk in any time they are open, no appointment needed, you just need to pre-register using the link.

LASD has partnered with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and Safeway/Albertsons to provide convenient and free vaccination clinics.
Almond Mobile Vaccination Clinic
When: January 6, 2021, 2- 7pm
Where: Almond Multipurpose room
Who: Anyone age 5 and older
No appointment necessary
Blach Mobile Vaccination Clinic
When: January 13, 3-7pm
Where: Blach Multipurpose Room
Who: Anyone age 5 and older

Hands-on Fun Science at Santa Rita
Mondays 3:05-4:05pm. Starts January 10
High Touch High Tech enrichments provide students with unique, interactive experience that brings science concepts to life. Each session, students exercise scientific process skills such as observing, investigating, questioning, explaining and problem solving.

Starts January 3
Mathlete’s proprietary curriculum is offered online. As a result, students have the opportunity to tackle fun challenges throughout the week.

EasySpanish

EasySpanish is a language program developed for children by Viviana Marchevsky, a native speaker with an extensive background in education and child development
Through a variety of exciting games and interactive activities, the children develop vocabulary and grammar skills in Spanish.

VOLUNTEER WITH LIVING CLASSROOM
Living Classroom is still in need of more volunteers to teach our fun, hands-on lessons and help care for our school gardens. No experience or green thumb necessary as we teach you everything you need to know! The suggested time commitment is only 6 hours a month and you get to participate in fun volunteer enrichment activities such as nature hikes, garden tours, educational workshops, talks, and more! Please join us for our Winter Docent Training!
