Message From Mr. Mitchell
As we get into a more consistent routine at school this week, I am continually impressed with the dedication and effort that our students are giving to their classes, their extra-curricular activities, and to ensuring that we have a positive culture at our school. Our students are kind to one another, engaged in classes, and helpful to everyone in the building. Additionally, our attendance rate is already improved compared to this time last year, and the results of that are evident in all the wonderful things listed above! Thank you to students, staff, and parents for everyone's effort in making Sherwood High School a wonderful place to learn and grow.
Thank you again all for your continued help with improving our traffic flow. As we all know, moving forward as far as possible in the drop-off and pick-up line will help to reduce the congestion both on campus, as well as on the neighboring roads. If you need to come into the building during the school day, or will be waiting for a significant amount of time, please park in a visitor space rather than waiting in the line.
Tonight please join us for our home football game against Summit, with performances by our cheerleaders, dance team and the band. We also will be spotlighting our youth football programs as part of Youth Football night. It's going to be a great night at Sherwood High School!
Have a great weekend, and Go Bowmen!
Adam Mitchell
Principal, SHS
