A Word from your Instructional Leaders

Hello!


Thank you all for being so supportive of your kiddos and their teachers! We appreciate your patience with our remodel. Our goal is to keep all families in the loop. Listed below are some of the projects we are working on with the support of Central Office throughout the building include...


  • New Nurse's office to include new furniture
  • New flooring throughout the building
  • New 6 foot fence to enclose the campus
  • New paint for entire building
  • New ceiling tiles for the entire campus
  • New furniture for the entire campus
  • New furniture for outdoor learning spaces
  • Irrigation system update for our garden (Shout out to Ms. Turner and her Mom for cleaning up and planting various seeds)
  • Removal of outdated furniture

These projects are going to make a huge difference in your kiddos learning environment. It is so nice to hear the kiddo's comments and excitement about the changes to come. We also truly appreciate their resiliency to adjust to the modifications in order for us to complete the remodel.


We still have more engagement and learning to complete to prepare students for their next grade level, please do your best to get your kiddos here everyday and on time. Our campus prides itself in learning from the moment the bell rings until the last bell. If you need support, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Manes and Mrs. Castillo.


Last school year we had an amazing Leadership Day! Your kiddos are preparing for our 2nd annual Leadership Day. We hope you all will be able to join us and celebrate our campus filled with student leaders.

End of Year Assessments

Our End of the Year Assessments will take place May 1st - 19th.
Kinder - 5th Grade will take STAR Reading assessment & iReady Math assessment.

Kinder - 2nd will also take iStation Reading assessment.

T-Shirt Days

Every Thursday at Mesilla, we will sport our College t-shirts!

Every Friday at Mesilla, we will sport our Mesilla Elementary swag! We do have Mesilla Elementary shirts for sale! The cost $15 cash or check. Contact the office if you would like to purchase! All funds go to Mesilla PTO.
