Welcome Back!
We've missed you!
Welcome Back!
Dear CCES Families,
We are beyond excited to begin our 2023-2024 school year! Although this summer seemed to start off as one of the wettest and then the hottest in many, we hope you have had one filled with new adventures. We wait with expectancy to see our students returning this school year with huge smiles on their faces. Teachers and staff have been working hard on creating safe and exciting spaces for all of our students in order to prepare for the opening of this school year. We want to offer students, families, and our community both at school and outside of school the opportunity to return to school with ease, expectations of a great year, full of new developments and learning, along with many smiles.
We want to say hello for the first time to our incoming PreK and Kindergarten students who will be starting this year. We want you to know that we look forward to having you as part of our school community and know that you will be a great addition to our school. As you settle in, you can expect to receive information and newsletters from the school, as well as, your child's classroom teachers. We are thrilled to have you join us as your student begins their educational adventure.
The Central Community Elementary School Handbook provides a great deal of important information regarding our programs and services, as well as, our policies and procedures. Additional policies and procedures for RSU 64 can be found on our district website. Please take time to read the handbook thoroughly and discuss this information with your children. This relationship between home and school helps to promote the well-being of our children and their learning process.
Partnering with families will always be crucial in order for everyone to experience a successful year. Someone once said, “Community is much more than belonging; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.” We want our families and students to feel like they are a belonging part of CCES. We encourage families to stay connected and informed by following our district website, along with our RSU 64 app, for important updates and information throughout our school year. We also would love for you to call or stop in any time you have questions, concerns, or would like to volunteer.
The entire staff of CCES, as always, remains committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. Welcome back, we missed you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Evans
