We are excited to celebrate our wonderful TCE custodians- Sara, Rosa, and Son. CISD even did a spotlight on our custodian, Sara Cruz, that you can check out by clicking here.

In preparation for all learners returning to campus on October 12th, I have been with meeting with each grade level and support staff to adjust our class rosters. This will allow us to balance out class sizes, student needs, and our virtual teachers now being part of the in-person teaching rotations.

Due to the way our trio grade rotations work for kindergarten through second grade, all K-2 learners will have each of our grade level teachers at some point in the day for the content area(s). So, while they may start the day with a new homeroom teacher, they will still have the current teachers they have now but with an added bonus teacher(s). Our third, fourth, and fifth-grade learners will still have at least one of their current teachers and will rotate between two teachers rather than three as they have been doing. Each of our grade level teachers works collaboratively to plan and support learners not only with academics but also during recess and lunchtime.

Please be on the lookout for an email from your child's teacher on October 6th that will let you know your child's assigned teachers for the remaining school year starting on October 12th. If you do not receive your child's classroom assignment by 4:00 PM on October 6th, please reach out to the front office.

As our fun run gets closer, make sure to register online at mybooster.com. It's free to register your child(ren) and for them to participate in the fun run on October 21st. We've set a school goal to earn $15,000 for our school to be used for classroom grants that fund instructional materials and experiences. We shared our school-wide incentive on announcements this morning- a dunking booth for the administrators! The top three individual earners will get to dunk us, along with the teacher of the class that has the highest average earned per child (due to our varying class sizes). We'd love your help in meeting our $15,000 goal!

The Lifetouch photographers are returning Wednesday, October 13th to take photos of all learners returning face-to-face that were virtual. These are the photos that will be in the Town Center yearbook, so every child will have their photo taken even if they are not purchasing a picture package. We will send home picture order forms for our learners returning on October 12th. You are also able to order online at mylifetouch.com. Our school code is EVTP7CBJ2.

If any of our current face-to-face learners would like a picture retake, please make sure your child and their teacher know. We will include them on this day.

If you have not already had a chance to meet with your child(ren)'s educator this year to discuss their progress and any questions you may have, please make sure to sign-up for a parent conference. Due to the number of learners we have on each grade level, many of our educators will extend the conference sign-up days/times to also include the week leading up to October 8th. Look for more specific details in our educators' newsletters.

Thank you to all those who have signed up to be a room parent! We really appreciate your help. We are still in need of room parents for approximately half of our educators, so if you are willing to help we would be so grateful!
