Chromebook Responsibilities
Please take a minute to reinforce the following expectations with your child
- Chromebooks are to stay in the case the entire time
- Chromebooks need to be charged every night so they are ready for the next day.
- Students are responsible for keeping their chromebook and charger in their possession and safe from damage. Should one become damaged, lost, or stolen it is the students/families responsibility to pay for damages.
Social Work, students with IEP's and 504's
Please know that we are currently in the process of looking for a new social worker. We had one of our two social workers resign just before the start of the year. This is a very challenging position to fill, however, we are making every effort to fill this position. Please know that Mrs. Hoven has been doing her best to ensure that our staff have received 504's and IEP's so we can support all of our students. She is working very hard to make sure she is communicating with parents, however, she is taking on all the students which was typically managed by two individuals. She is working hard to respond to parents in a timely manner, however, I ask for your patience as it may take her a little longer to respond than her typical response time.
Thank you in advance!
Most up to date grade Thursday nights.
I have asked staff to have their gradebooks up to date on Thursday nights. This means as a parent you are able to check Schoology for the most recent up to date grades and missing work on Thursday night/Friday morning. Our staff does a good job keeping grades up to date on a continual basis, however, this ensure that on Friday morning you will have the most recently reflection of your child's progress.
Couple reasons for this
1. We will eventually be having students reflect and set goals on Friday. They will be able to look at how they did with their work from the week and set goals for next week.
2. Eligibility for extra curriculars- Coaches will be able to talk with their players on Friday and communicate to parents if their child will be able to participate the following week.
3. It streamlines communication within our teams and with parents.

Please do NOT Park at Rosatti's
The manager of Rosati's has informed me that many of our parents are parking in the Rosati's to pick up their students. This unfortunately takes up space for his paying customers. In order for us to work together and to support our local vendors, please do NOT park in the Rosati's or Angelo's parking lot. You will need to take South Street and pick up your child in the back parking lot. I know its convenient to park in that area, however, we want to ensure all of our students safety, in addition to respecting our neighbors.
