RHS Back to School Checklist

Below is a reminder of the COVID protocols to start the school year.

1. Masks are required indoors and on buses.
2. Students will eat lunch seated every other to allow for additional spacing as students will be seated without masks. Students must sit at the same table every day during lunch.
3. Students and staff will exercise good hygiene and stay home when not feeling well. If students are not feeling well, the nurse needs to be told as soon as possible.

Be sure to print your scheudle or save your schedule to your mobile device prior to the first day of school.

To access your schedule, follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://ma-rockland.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.do
2. Log-in.
3. Go to MY INFO Top Tab
4. Select CURRENT SCHEDULE on the left side tab.

There is a 3 day drop/add period at the start of each semester for elective changes (for Semester 1 change requests will be accepted from Monday, 8/30 - Wednesday, 9/1), but we strongly encourage students to request schedule changes before the start of school if possible.

The first day of school is Monday, August 30th and it will be a day 1. Students should bring their Chromebook, Chromebook Charger, a writing utensil, and paper/notebook. Staff will communicate to students supplies for specific courses during the first week of the school year. Students can arrive between 7:40-7:50 AM. Students need to be in their A Block class no later than 7:55 AM.

Any student who arrives after 7:55 AM to their first-period class should report to the main office for a tardy slip.

Students who have signed up for buses should check Aspen to see their bus route and pick-up time.

4. Select MY DETAILS on the left side tab.
5. In bottom left of page you will find your bus number, pick-up time, and pick-up location.

During the first few days we understand the bus company is learning their schedules and students on buses may arrive late to school. Students who take the bus will not be penalized with a tardy if the bus is late to school.

On Monday, August 30th, there is a special bell schedule which features a longer A Block. During A Block, the period is extended so students can attend a virtual back to school assembly.

Students will be assigned either first, second or third lunch. Whoever your D Block teacher is on Days 1,2,3,5,6 and 7 will determine which lunch you have. Whoever your E Block teacher is on Day 4 (since D Block drops on Day 4) will determine which lunch you have.

As a reminder, breakfast and lunch are free for all students this year.

On the first day of school, students will receive the following handouts in their period A class.

1. Parent Contact/Dismissal Card
2. Student Cell Phone Contact Sheet
3. Student Handbook Contract Sheets

Please complete the first day of school paperwork no later than Tuesday, September 7th.

This year we are asking families to update any changes to your family’s personal contact information and emergency contact information by viewing their information in X2 Aspen and then making any changes using the electronic form below.

First, please review the information in X2.

1. Log-in to your X2 Aspen Account. https://ma-rockland.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.do
2. Select the Family Top Tab.
3. Select the Details Side Tab.
4. Review all of the information.

If there are no changes, you do not need to do anything further. If you need to make changes to your personal contact information or emergency contact information, please fill out the form by clicking here. Please note we will still need families to complete and return the Parent Contact/Dismissal Cards which contain important medical information.
