With our current district COVID Guidelines in place, we will not be able to have visitors or volunteers for these events. We will take pictures and videos to share, and look forward to next year when we can have parents back here at Shady Grove with us for Field Day!

If you have a student who is a virtual learner and you would like him/her to participate in person in the field day events, please let your child's teacher know. You will check your student in at the front office, drop them off and come back at the end of their field day time to pick-up.

Be sure your child has: athletic shoes, a change of clothes (there are a few water stations), sunscreen, a towel and water bottle.

We are planning to refine the efficiency of our Car Rider Pro system. The car tags being scanned are showing up for the correct students, but recently are sometimes out of order. Because we want this system to be working quickly and effectively for the safety of our students, we would like to conduct a systems test to see if we can identify a way to make the system more accurate.

On May 6, we will use cones to merge our two lines into one right before they pass the Car Rider Pro tag reader. The line will then unmerge and will go back into the two regular dismissal lines. Our SRO will be out helping with this process to help keep things running smoothly. We do anticipate that this will slow down the pick-up process slightly, so just keep that in mind for this afternoon.

Estamos planeando refinar la eficiencia de nuestro sistema Car Rider Pro.
