Please find a letter from Chancellor Ferebee attached which announces funding allocation for a new stand-alone Middle School at the old Banneker HS site on Euclid Street.

Volo Kids volocityfoundation.org is offering a free six-week Sports Enrichment at Stead Park on Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm beginning April 21 for children ages 5-13. A Volo Rep will be at Ross on Thursday, March 24 for advance registration. We will also post registration materials as we receive them.

Please welcome Ms. Ebony Tobias to Ross as our new substitute for the PK4 Educational Aide vacancy! Welcome back to Ms. Bethany Young who has been enjoying time with her new baby, Bronson. Ms. Young has enjoyed reconnecting with students and teachers.

Central Office is providing temporary Social Work coverage to provide direct services to children who have Behavior Support goals for IEPs. Ms. Brickhouse and Ms. Johnson will be at Ross on Tuesdays and Thursdays for this support. In the absence of a full-time Social Worker, Ms. Adams, Ross Psychologist, is the POC for 504 plans.

The Ross Lost & Found is overflowing. Now that COVID restrictions are being relaxed, parents/caregivers are welcome to come into the building to check the Lost & Found. It is on the lower level, just beyond Officer Woodley's desk on your left. Please remember to label all of your student's jackets, etc. for easy identification. We will also bring the Lost & Found outside on the days of the Learning Celebrations for parents to peruse.

Enrollment for the 22.23 school year opens April 1. Please watch your email for enrollment updates. We request that all families who are returning to Ross for the next school fully complete re-enrollment by June 1. If you receive a PK4 lottery spot due to sibling preference, you must fully enroll the sibling at the same time as the PK4 student. Completing enrollment includes residency verification.

Ross students are assigned to Marie Reed Elementary for the Elementary Summer Acceleration program. Registration opens on March 9.
