A Message from the SPPS Ethnic Studies department!
You’re invited to be a part of the first ever Critical Ethnic Studies Student Showcase hosted by the SPPS Ethnic Studies Department. It will be on Saturday June 10, 2023 at Washington Technology Magnet School from 9 am - 2 pm in the Great hall. This event is to showcase students' Capstone project and experience from the Critical Ethnic Studies course. There will be student and community led workshops, guest speakers, open mic and many more.
You’re welcome to submit your project and join us there to present or you can display your work. If you just want to attend the event to support your classmates that's great too!
This is a student-centered space, but SPPS family and community are welcome to attend. Don’t forget to RSVP.
Questions? Contact the Ethnic Studies Department at ethnicstudies.dept@spps.org or contact the Critical Ethnic Studies teacher in your building.
