Year 9 Debate

9Ca held an intriguing debate of “talent or hard work to be successful?” influenced by Matthew Syed's TED talk on black box thinking.

Year 8 English

Year 8 students have created some excellent homework, creating fact files and missing persons reports for the boys stranded on the desert island in Lord of the Flies!

Mr Harley has nominated Year 7 student Omayer for creating a fantastic acrylic holder in Design and Technology, she worked independently and safely, Well done!
Miss Watt has nominated the Year 10 students who visited the Skills Show this week, they are amazing ambassadors for our school.
Mrs Vaghadia has nominated the Year 9 Sociology students for the gender neutral toys they worked so hard to create, going above and beyond my expectation, in particular Sammah, Leila and April.
Mrs Rice has nominated her Year 8 English students for their fact files and missing persons reports based on Lord of the Flies.

Year 10 Skills Show Trip

Year 10 students visited The Skills Show this week, the nation’s largest skills and careers event that helps to shape the future of a new generation. Students had the opportunity to find out information about a wide range of careers and talk to experts in those fields. Students looked at careers in Engineering, demolition and many more.
