October went by very quickly! Welcome to November and Boys Basketball, Archery, Chess, Volleyball, and new Unified Arts classes.


We've had the opportunity to hire a 7th grade Science Teacher and a 6th/7th grade ELA teacher. Please talk with your student about their teachers and their classes.


Our Extended School Services (ESS) will begin soon. If your student is struggling with Reading or Math, please reach out to your child's teacher to get signed up!


Teachers organized a wonderful Halloween Party for students- thanks to students who purchased a ticket and attended!

Ms. Sharp

Welcome Ms. Sharp as our new Science teacher! She teachers all 7th grade and one class of 6th grade.

"I graduated from Morehead State University in 2020 with a Health & PE degree before moving to a small mountain town in Colorado. I taught 7th grade Health & PE for two years before deciding to move back home to Kentucky! In my free time I love to workout, read, and get outside with my family and friends. I have a passion for teaching middle schoolers and am so excited to teach science at Zoneton this year!”

Ms. Hill

Welcome Ms. Hill as our new ELA teacher! She teaches some 6th and 7th grade classes. "I am excited to start my new adventure at ZMS. This will be my 7th year teaching English/ELA. My hope is to instill the love of reading to all my students so that they can be successful in all classes here at ZMS."
