The Appleton Echo
Autumn Term 1, Week 5
A Word from Mr Broom
Another fun week at Appleton draws to a close after some amazing learning experiences, trips and activities. It was great to see the Y5/6 children have such a wonderful time at the Yorvik Centre. Also, our PTA skipping experience was one not to be missed. On top of that, our sports leaders and Junior Leadership Team began their leadership tasks across school.
Next week is another busy one. We have 'Love in a Box' on Tuesday and lots more besides.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

OfSTED Parent View
We start the new academic year expecting an Ofsted Inspection at some point in the year. We are certainly well overdue!
You can really help us by completing the Ofsted Parent View online survey. It's a short series of questions that should take you no longer than 10 minutes. Of course, when we do get the call, you'll get another opportunity to share your views.
Click here to access the online survey on the government website.

We are a 'Nut Free' School
A polite reminder that we have children in school who have severe nut allergies. Please ensure that you do not bring nuts on to the school site or include them in packed lunches.
Thank you for your support with this.
Staff Shout Outs
I've had a few messages from parents/carers asking about how they can send a staff shoutout for a staff team. It's great that you think about them and really does help to raise morale.
