Summer Volunteers Needed - one time commitment
Our summer program is enriched by Guest Makers who show the kids new ideas for creativity and hands-on learning. We are very low on these volunteers still. You don't have to teach HOW to do your craft, hobby, or skill, and we have a very broad definition of "Making". Do you cook? Do theater? Knit? Please volunteer for a summer Sunday!
Preschool-Kindergarten class needs you!
We still need at least three more volunteers for the Fall in our preschool-Kindergarten class. This class uses a Montessori method called "Spirit Play". It's a lovely program, involving a simple worship, telling a story using physical "story baskets", asking Wondering Questions, and then "Work Time" with a variety of materials to choose from.
Time commitment is once or twice a month, Sept-November, with the option to volunteer again for the next three month commitment after that if you like.

Middle School Advisors needed
The Middle School group (6th-8th grade) meets at 11:00 and will be using a curriculum this year of "Twilight Zone" content: watching episodes and discussing them. It's a fun program, with a fun bunch of kids, and they need some more advisors to join in the fun!

Actors needed for September 8th Worship Service
Help tell the story of "The Chief of the Well" as part of our Water Communion worship service on September 8th. We need one adult/youth narrator and three children to act in the story. Practices will be held during the 9:15 service August 11, 18, and 25, and a final practice Saturday September 7th 11am.

Middle School CON
Sundae Sale
A youth fundraiser for the RE Scholarship Fund (to help you all get to CONS and so forth): A "Sundae Sunday"!
The ice cream sundae was (possibly) invented by a Unitarian minister, and we will celebrate that and summer with a Sundae sale on July 21, in both coffee hours.
