PTC UPDATES
Open committees for 2021-2022 school year.
We are looking for volunteers to help fill the following committees for the end of this school year. A PTC committee member will help you get started and give you guidance for each event.
1. Donuts with Grownups: Late April/Early May event. Organize a form for parents to sign up to attend. Order the food for the event, seek parent volunteers to help set up and serve the day of. The grownups (parents, grandparents, babysitter, etc) are invited to come in and have a donut breakfast with their child.
2. McDonald's Hamburger Picnic Day: Potentially the week of May 23rd The Committee head organizes and finds parents from each class to help. For this event parents are given the option to order a Hamburger from McDonalds for their child and we will also supplement with a chip, juice, and treat (like rice krispy). Kids have a picnic lunch outdoors where they get served their hamburger meal and can play with friends.
3. Teacher Appreciation Week: (Week of May 2nd) The committee organizer(s) will arrange a sign up genius for parents to sign up and donate different items for a snack cart that will be available to the teachers throughout the week. This is a way for us to thank them for all their hard work.
4. Music Show popsicle pre-sales (Mid May Date TBD) We are still finalizing this even but we are also looking for a volunteer or 2 to organize a presale of frozen treats for after the kindergarten music show and to be there to serve the day of.
5. Back to school celebration: Beginning of next year back to school celebration (Date August TBD). Music and fun outdoors to celebrate the start of the school year. More details for this to come.
Please email the prairie trails PTC at prairietrailsptc@gmail.com to express interest in one of our open committees.
Sincerely,
Prairie Trails PTC
