WI Family Newsletter

>>Week of Dec. 18, 2023 - January 12, 2024<<
Note from your Admin
Wolf Families,
We hope you and your family have a wonderful winter break.
This time of year always seems to go so fast. Remember to stop and enjoy all of the sweet moments with your sweet kiddos.
I want to say a special thank you to our PTO and everyone for the generous donations - every student received a Wolf Gram bag, whether they ordered one or not. Wolf Grams ordered for $1 and higher came in a variety of sizes of bags. Happy Holidays from WIPTO!
As we roll into full swing of Oklahoma winter season students will need a variety of layers. Remember we go outside to play when the feels like temp is above 32 degrees. Please ensure your student is dress appropriately to play outside or stand at the bus stop.
Lost and Found has grown and will be donated at the end of day on Wednesday, December 20th. Please come take a look.
Today's Parties
If you've been contacted to attend the Winter Celebration, Remember to pre-check before noon today if you have not already done your pre-check. If you wait till you come for the Celebration, you'll be asked to sign in then.

Wishing you well,
Angie Zeiler and Amanda Lonberg

Note from our PE Teachers! Special offer...
Dear Parents,
We are really excited about the Sport Stacking unit we are currently doing in PE. Sport Stacking is
an exciting sport where students stack and unstack 12-specially designed cups (Speed Stacks).
Sport Stacking uses both sides of the body and brain developing important athletic and
academic skills.
One of our goals, as a Physical Educator, is to promote activity at home through positive
alternatives to computer, television and video game screen time. We believe that Sport Stacking
is a unique, fun and simple activity that motivates kids to get up and move.
We have Speed Stacks Sets and StackMats for students to purchase here at the school with an
added benefit of raising funds for our PE program. Here’s why you should participate:
Sport Stacking is healthy for kids.
Sets are $25.00. Pro Series 2 sets are $30.00. StackMats (mat, timer and gear bag) are
$30.00. You pay no shipping, PLUS, the school will earn a percentage of your purchase in
equipment for our PE program.
Speed Stacks Sets and StackMats are available for immediate purchase. ‘First come, First
served’ on color and design choices.
Act now, we have a limited supply of colors and quantities. We plan to close our New Group Order
on February 15, 2024 (our annual Health Fair). All orders must be paid online with a credit
card. To purchase your student’s Speed Stacks Set and/or StackMat, go to this link, choose
your school and place your order. www.speedstacks.com/go/ After you place the order, print
out the receipt and have your student bring the receipt to me to pick up their item(s). Please
encourage your student to have a second choice in mind since it is ‘First come, First served’ on
color and design choices.
*Or, since it is so close to Christmas time, this would be a perfect gift! If you wish to purchase
a set as a gift, please send me an email (Jennifer.maly@edmondschools.net) and we will
arrange a time for you to pick it up in the office. *
Sincerely,
Jenn Maly and Carly King
Thank you for supporting our Physical Education Program!

Please consider signing up and making someone's day.
