The school system uses your information in Power School to send email, phone calls, text messages, and emergency notifications.


Efficiency depends greatly on you providing us with correct phone numbers. If you haven't received a call or e-mail from us this year, please check with your office staff, SIS director, or school administrator to verify that we have the most up-to-date contact information for you in Power School.

ATTENDANCE CALLS

Attendance calls are sent out daily. Parents can upload excuses for their child's absence by visiting our website. Click on Students & Parents - Attendance.

WEEKLY COVID #'S

Each Monday, the district will provide a report disclosing the number of positive COVID-19 cases within the school system.
SUBSCRIPTION LINKS TO SCHOOL PARENT CALENDARS
Each school has a Google Parent Calendar. The calendars were created to share school-specific events with your students, parents & community members. All events & details on your parent calendar are synced to your school website & Burke Co. PS App.

ClassLink: A VERY CONVENIENT TOOL

ClassLink can be easily accessed on any of our websites - click on the blue button located in the center of the webpage.


By logging into ClassLink with your district-issued User Name & Password, you gain access to:


  • Edlio - Our website provider. *All teachers & admin should have already logged into their school website at least once. Logging into your school website enables your name & contact form to be listed under CONTACT - STAFF DIRECTORY
  • Employee Benefits
  • Employee Self-Serve (ESS)
  • My Personal Benefits
  • Doc-e-Fill
  • School Dude (Maintenance Request)
  • Blackboard (phone, e-mail, text, notifications)
  • Much, much, more!


Many of the programs listed in ClassLink are single sign-on. If not, once you've signed into a program in ClassLink, you won't have to remember your password the next time you log in. There is also a ClassLink App for your mobile device.
