Just drop off your extra candy at our office and we will donate the candy to @SoldiersAngelsOfficial to ship to deployed service members or hand out to veterans in VA Hospitals across the country. Students can bring in candy to the elementary office or middle school office from November 1st -8th .
FCCLA members- Tshirts are in! Region 9 FCCLA meeting is November 2nd. If you would like to go, please sign up in the FACS room or email Ms. Bell ASAP. If your name is not on the list, you will not be going.
Juniors: Please don't forget to pay your $20 class dues to either Ms. Johnston, Mr. Snelling, or in the High School Office. These will help out with costs associated with Prom!
Community Betterment Club Members need to check in on Google Classroom REGULARLY. There are lots of events coming up that we need their help with.

Seniors: Financial Aid Fridays during ATLAS
On Fridays starting October 28, we will start "Financial Aid Fridays" during ATLAS for seniors that are interested in learning more about types of financial aid and why it's important.
This will take place in the library during ATLAS. Report directly to the library. Your mentor teacher will mark you absent but a sign-in sheet will be provided to the office to correct attendance. If you do not sign-in and you are marked absent for ATLAS, then you may be subject to discipline for truancy. You do not have to attend all of the lessons. Pick which ones you think would be the most beneficial for you.
The lessons for the day will be as follows:
October 28: 3 Types of Financial Aid
November 4: Going Merry's FAFSA Made Easier

November 18: Meet with Mentor teacher // Career Day debriefing
December 2: How State Aid Works
December 9: Understanding Grants & Scholarships, Work Study, & Student Loans

Teacher Proud
This week's #TeacherProudTuesday was a celebration of Mrs. Randi Wilson, a high school science teacher in our district.
According to High School Principal Amanda Munson, "Mrs. Wilson is a leader among her peers. She serves as the facilitator for her department team, the science representative for the Building Leadership Team, and a high school representative for the District Leadership Team. Even with 15 years experience, Mrs. Wilson continues to look for ways to improve and help her students find success in her classroom. Mrs. Wilson goes the extra distance to help her students, often reaching out to parents for discussion or just to let them know their child has an upcoming exam. Mrs. Randi Wilson definitely makes a positive impact on her students, our building, and the district."
