Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in our penny wars! We are happy and proud to announce that we raised $836.58 in pennies, coins and cash. 3rd grade was the winning grade level with the most donations and they have earned a pizza party! All donations will go directly to Make-A-Wish Colorado. Your caring hearts will make a difference in many lives.

Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed on Friday, May 20th. If you did not order one and would still like to get one, a very limited amount will be available for purchase starting in the afternoon on Thursday, May 20th. The cost is $25 and will be first come first served. Please make checks payable to Longmont Estates Elementary.

If you have not yet done so, please get all student library books returned! Overdue and fine notices have been sent home. Fines must be paid in full by May 26th. Fines are payable by check, cash or online using RevTrak. Please make checks payable to LEE. Look out First Grade... Here We Come!

Join us for the Kindergarten Celebration on Friday, May 20th, 2021 at 2:00pm.

Please look for specific information being emailed by your students teacher.

We invite you to attend our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony. Please join us on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:45pm to recognize this outstanding group of 5th grade students.

Please be sure to check the lost and found for any items your child may be missing. Items left in the lost and found after Thursday, May 26th will be donated.

Please note that district regulations do not allow us to send medications home with students. If your child has taken all of his/her medication by the end of the day on Thursday, May 26th, the empty container(s) will be sent home with him/her.

If your child has medication left on hand, a parent or another adult with your written authorization will need to come to the office to pick it up. The health clerk or the office staff will be in the office to help you will this between 8:00am-3:00pm. Any medication not picked up by 3:15pm on Thursday, May 26th will be sent to the district to be destroyed.

Field Day will be on Thursday, May 26th and will run from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Families are more than welcome to attend. Longmont Estates Field Day will have 15 fun filled stations where EVERYBODY wins! The goal for the day is FUN! Students will stay with their home classes from station to station and engage in many different field day activities. Stations will be directed by our wonderful 5th grade students and each activity will be monitored by your child’s classroom teacher. To help the kids cool off, we will have a station with water involved in the activity so your child may get a little wet.

We are hoping for a beautiful sunny day on that Thursday. Please have your child bring a water bottle with their name on it (for drinking only), wear proper action clothes and shoes, wear a hat (if they wish), and sunscreen. We will not have cups available for students so it is important to bring a water bottle. We will have four refill stations scattered throughout the Play Zone so kids can stay hydrated.

Here is the schedule for the last day of school:

9:00 to 11:30 Field Day Activities on fields South and West of the school

11:30 to 11:45 Students will be returning to their classrooms. Parents are welcome to sign out their children at this time. Please sign out with the classroom teacher so we are able to keep track of students.

11:45 to 12:15 All School Picnic - Families are welcome to join their child’s class outside on the South lawn for lunch. The cafeteria will be closed so you will need to bring sack lunches.

12:30 to 2:50 Remaining students will be invited to the cafeteria (3rd-5th) or library (K-2nd) for the showing of a movie. Students leaving during this time should be signed out through the office.

2:50 to 2:55 Remaining students will return to their classroom.

2:55 to 3:00 Ringing of the bell in the front of the building and dismissal.

For the safety of students, please NO DOGS on school property for the field day and picnic activities.

St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Nutrition Services department will once again offer summer meals at no cost to families from June 6-30 on Monday-Thursday each week. Drive-through meal service will provide breakfast and lunch each day. Double meals will be handed out on Thursdays.
