Issue #16: Wednesday, May 24, 2023
Reminder: Schools are open this Friday, May 26!
Friday is a snow make-up day so our schools will be open! There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 29. Have a great 3-day Memorial Day Weekend!
Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is a month-long celebration during the month of May. It is an opportunity to honor and recognize the rich history, culture, and contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States. It's a time to celebrate the diversity and unique traditions of these communities and to acknowledge their important role in shaping American society.
This month, the Bremerton School District honors the rich diversity of our community and celebrates the contributions and achievements of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in Bremerton and Kitsap County.
