Hello LPS families! My name is April Bowden, and I am the new Principal at our Secondary Campus. I am beyond excited for this opportunity to work alongside the staff, families and community of Leadership Prep.

A little about me, I have been married for over 27 years. We have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren. I love to visit coffee shops with friends, antique shopping and spending time with family. I have been in education in various roles for over 20 years. This is my 5th year with LPS, most currently as the Elementary Assistant Principal.

My vision is for ALL students to feel welcomed and valued at Leadership Prep. My commitment to our community as Principal involves building relationships, nurturing communication, and celebrating our students.

This is going to be a great year! I am proud to be an LPS Lion.
