WEEK AT A GLANCE AUGUST 28-SEPTEMBER 2
Greetings Staff,
What an amazing week! A huge show of gratitude to Mr. Matthew Bierer for being available and willing to show others how to utilize the telescope to view the partial eclipse! Students enjoyed the moments outside watching this historical event take place. I would like to commend each of you for being present in the hallways and sweeping students to class. As a reminder bell to bell instruction is vital. Please do not dismiss students prior the bell ringing to end the class. When you dismiss early you are in turn not treating your colleagues respectfully as they are trying to teach while distractors are in the halls. This week's Open House is on Wednesday, August 30th. Last week during SSP fliers were sent home printed courtesy of Flint Hills Resources. There will be a follow up text message.

Emergency Drill Info.....
First drill of the year was a success! Thanks to each of you for taking time out of your class period to ensure students understand where they need to go in the case of an emergency. Please note that we have alarms on various doors in the building that are now armed. Exit and entrances that are armed is the door by Hanson's room, by Beks' room, and Million's room. Window coverings are to be used in emergency situations. As Safeties walk the halls they are in some cases unable to peer inside due to coverings. There should also be a magnetic strip that is utilized so that your door can remain locked during the day. If you are in need of a magnetic strip please send me an email.
